Who is DBP?
Death by Pyrex (DBP) is all about delivering a high-energy rock experience that keeps the party going all night long! Founded in 2022 by vocalist and bassist Scott Diezman and drummer Jen McFarland, the band grew in early 2024 with the addition of guitarists Kenny Wallace and Steve Burton, reaching its full lineup in the summer of 2024 with the addition of lead vocalist Emily Steadman. ​
Together, they bring a powerhouse sound packed with classic hard rock, modern rock, and alternative favorites spanning the '80s, '90s, and beyond. Whether they’re rocking the local bar and brewery circuit or bringing the energy to private events in Northern Virginia, DBP knows how to get a crowd on its feet.

Emily Steadman is a powerhouse musician and live performer out of the Washington, DC area. Known for her powerful pipes, she is a "swiss army knife" when is comes to music; as comfortable strapped with a Les Paul as she is behind a microphone.
Kenny Wallace

Kenny is our resident comedian (we let him think he's funny) and south 620’s most eligible bachelor (because he’s the only bachelor). A.D.D.A.F. and keeps things interesting (Squirrel!). He tried to teach himself to tie his shoes but has since embraced slip-ons. Not a doctor, but he’ll take a look! A master of responding with movie and song quotes (yes, it gets old, no, he’s not stopping), Kenny once rolled his ankle while standing still in his garage.
Steve Burton

Meet Steve Burton, lead guitarist of DBP! Steve is a Libra, enjoys long walks on the beach, and if he’s not shredding on guitar, you can likely find him at the smoker or grill serving up some tasty, meaty treats. Formerly the guitarist of Ephitol and DaddBödd, Steve’s talents now supercharge Death by Pyrex’s signature, face-melting sound.
